Well-being of Immigrants with A minority backgrouNd

Our team of researchers, together with Masaryk University in Brno and Norwegian organisation Skeiv Verden, is dedicated to investigating the circumstances of Ukrainian and Slovakian LGBTQ+ people currently residing in the Czech Republic. We're exploring their daily challenges, overall well-being, integration processes, and the treatment they receive from the state. Projekt is financed from EEA/Norwegian fonds.

We are looking for LGBTQ+ people from Ukraine living in the Czech Republic. We want to learn more about their situation, experiences and life. If you are interested in sharing your story with us, please contact us.

We would be very grateful if you also fill in this questionnaire about health and integration:

June 2023

Well-known Czech and Slovak musicians released a song in support of the LGBTQ+ community. The song was created in memory of  murdered young men Juraj and Matúš in Bratislava club Tepláreň.   With this project, its creators want to help the growth of respect and empathy in Slovakia and at the same time to tell LGBTQ+ and other "minority" communities in our country and in the world that it is
we will not let live in fear.

The project was implemented with the support of OSA (Author's Protection Union).
